New Year's Activities

New Year's Eve (afternoon) we went bowling.
Foster wasn't so sure about all the noise down there, and those big jaws that came and took away the pins!

Fun Day!!

On the 1st, after Mike's Penguin Plunge (see Amy's blog),  we went to a beautiful park and dock along the inlet.  Mike took engagment photos of Amy and Chris, while we looked at crabs, the scenery, played at the park, and had our own little photo shoot.
It's so sunny we can hardly open our eyes....we aren't used to that here, ya know.

More Christmas Fun

One afternoon we headed downtown Vancouver to Robson Square for some ice skating.  It was pretty cold but the atmosphere was great and was a fun time.

Grandpa followed Fos around as he explored the area and I held little James.

Annie loved ice skating...she was picking it up quickly and wished.she could have stayed longer.

We're now leaving to head to the Cactus Club for dinner.

It snowed on Wednesday morning, so there was just enough snow to go have fun on a local hill and then clean off our front yard in the making of two snowmen.

December 26th

Four fine ladies in the YSA Relief Society.....all can pass for that except one and I'm there all the time.

Three darling cousins who had a fun time playing with each other.
Sunday afternoon picture time.

Looks like a nice enough family but.....
We are ready for tomorrow's action!

Nerf Wars and Play at the gym.

We had a ball at the Church playing nerf wars in the gym.  We mostly played guys against girls....and it was very evenly matched.

The boys had fun playing with their new Christmas toys.

The man-lift was fun to take pictures from and the kids loved going way up high.

Guerilla  Warfare---Notice how the combatants use the civilians for cover.

Christmas 2010!

What a wonderful fun Christmas we had this year!  All the family that could be there, was.  Brian is on his mission, and Johnsons are in Germany, but all the rest came home for Christmas.  Christmas Eve we had our traditional dinner, then program, then games.  We took more picturesbut they were pretty lousy so this is it.

Molly was Mary, Mike was Joseph, and Fos was a lamb, Annie was the angel.

We had a few fun Skype visits with the Johnsons.
Christmas morning.....they had been told so many times not to look.

Pillow Pets were a hit!

Two sick boys.....they are still cute.

Who is having more fun here?  Scott is reliving his childhood.
LIke father, like daughter.
Scott was very surprised with new skis!

Quick trip to Utah

I made a quick trip to Utah the second week of December to go looking for wedding dresses with Amy.    She was just getting ideas of what kind she wants and what looks good on her. We had soooo much fun!
Elisha and Molly joined us on Saturday afternoon.  Molly thought all the dresses were beautiful.  We then went for lunch, and then up to Scott and Elisha's for dinner and an early birthday celebraton for Scott.

It was a great quick trip!
