Olympic Torch
Work let us off early the day the Torch Run was coming near our area, so we all took off to the places we wanted to watch. I went to 64th and King Geaorge Hwy which is on my way home. I waited about a half hour as the crowds got bigger and bigger. There was a lot of excitement and patriotism as many were dressed in red and white and waving flags. It was fun even if I was "by myself".

Graduation from BYU-I
David and I had a great trip down to Rexburg on December 17th for Mike's graduation from BYU-Idaho. We had been concerned about the roads being safe for travel, but they were great down and back. It was a quick trip...attended his graduation, met some people he talks about and works with, saw where his class might be held that he is going to be teaching next semester, and helped him move. He definately moved UP from his student approved housing apt. to his new place in a new subdivision. Here are pictures of both.

It even has a three car garage that he will be able to park in.
All his earthly belongings piled in the basement until he gets back to move into his bedroom.

We are at the newly opened Crossroads eating area in the Manwaring Center. It is really big, and has a nice variety of different types of foods.

Elder Walton Photo Shoot
Brian sent us a CD full of pictures that he and Elder Clare had done at a Ghost Town while in his first area. The Ward Mission Leader's wife has a company called Red Bucket Photography, so she edited the pictures and put them on the CDs. Pretty fun pictures. There were lots more, so it was hard to choose. All of them were in color or black and white.....I always liked the color ones best so that is mostly what is here.
