May 29th
Chris, Amy and I went down to Granville Island to enjoy the grey day.  We wandered through the art shops and the market for a fun few hours, then shared a little cheesecake.

Spring Clean Up

Brian and Dad aerated the lawns.  The front yard on the slope was trickiest.
Brian had power-washed the front driveway earlier in the week....I just helped with a little in the front and part of the back patio.  Now we need a dry spell long enough to put on the sealer.
We had fun spraying everything we could find.  Actually, we didn't come close to doing all that needed it, but we got some done.

Utah Trip-- Part 1

Our first stop was the summit of Snoqualmie Pass east of Seattle.  Wow, had they gotten a lot of snow!!

We drove the first day to Butte, Montana and stayed the night, then drove on to Rexburg the next day getting there before noon.  We picked up Brian and walked around campus to see everything and have some lunch.
One of the places Brian works......the Student Technology Center.

Here are Brian's typography designs he entered and won in the Student Art show.

The new BYU-I Center! It is amazing.
And now to meet the new grandson....Nathan David, born March 27th.

Trip to Utah-- part 2

We had some beautiful days to play at the park.

Some neighbors had baby chicks, that were growing up, and invited Molly and Fos to come take a look.

Cute playhouse that Scott made the kids.

For FHE,  Grandpa told the story of Wilford Woodruff being prompted by the Spirit to move his wagon in the night, and then the tree fell right where it had been.  It was fun putting together the wagons with GI Joes as the pioneers.

 Go Canucks Go!!

One day the air was perfect for kite flying.
 Little Soccer girl, Molly.
 Playing Strawberry Shortcake.
Baby Nathan

We had a great visit with Uncle Andy in their new place in SLC.  (Foster was shocked that Grandpa was wearing a PINK shirt)
Aunt Fern works in the Family History Library and gave us a quick tutorial.
We drove up to Draper to see Jim and LeAnn's new home.  Yes, it was snowing up there.  that shows that it is up in the mountains and has a beautiful view.  It's a wonderful house.

Fun group !  We then all went to Cafe Rios for dinner.

The Silva's first home in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
