Last Spring, Dan and Sarah called with a proposal we couldn't refuse! They had reserved a place at this Hyatt Residence Club in Maui, and they said they wanted to invite us to come!! YES Scott and Elisha and Molly, Fos, and Nate also came. The place was awesome with plenty of room and wonderful facilities. It was along a stretch of upper class resorts an the beach of Ka'anapali.
Our room.....when we came in, which was quite late, I said to Dan "thanks for giving us the nicest room!" He said, "I'm glad you think that!"

One morning, the children were having fun sharing their muffins with the little birds that weren't very shy!
The grounds and pool area was fabulous. I couldn't help think how fun it would be to design pools!

This red flag beach was our favorite! The waves were coming in from 2 directions so when they met, it was pretty crazy. We all got taken down by the waves and , but I'd have to say, it was probably Nate and me the most.
We drove to a little ways to this beach one day, looking for a good place to snorkel. The waves were pretty crazy here too. (It might have been Napili Bay, or Kapalua Bay on the northwestern area)

The pools were awesome! Slides, tunnels, hot tubs, and perfect temperature.
This kids area was amazing too. What a great place to hang out and play.
One evening we drove into the town, Lahaina, to check out the little shops.....fun touristy atmosphere.
Shaved ice was one of the goals for the evening. It was yummy and unique!
Such a gorgeous place. The evenings and sunsets were beautiful.
