Olympics--O Zone and shopping
the things to see and do there, plus go to the Dutch Exhibit. We think it would have been more exciting later on when things got going more and there were more people, but it was nice to only stand in line for about 20 minute for the Hineken House.
Mike and Scott did a test drive of some sort.
Olympics--Victory Ceremony at BC Place
Tuesday February 16th was our first day going downtown to enjoy an event. We took the new Canada Line down from Richmond and walked a few blocks to BC Place. The first official sign made a perfect place to try out our own Inukchuck.

Fun days together.
These are a mixture of pictures of things we did, that weren't necessarily Olympics related.
Annie, Leah, and I fed the ducks on a beautiful afternoon while Dan and Sarah were at the hockey game.

Saturday afternoon at White Rock beachs.
We had a little early birthay celebration for Leah.

Darren and Rochelle's Wedding
Darren and Rochelle were married on February 12th in the Seattle Temple. David and I got to go down to witness the lovely event. We sure enjoyed being apart of the family celebration. Here LeAnn and I are awaiting the arrival of the bride and groom....trying to keep warm.

Jim's Visit
My brother, Jim came up for a visit!! That wasn't his main objective, but I'm sure it was the most important. He came for a dental surgery course from Thursday to Saturday, where he performed the 4 hour surgery on Saturday...sorry no pictures of that. It was so fun to have him here. We had a great time.
Saturday late afternoon, we headed downtown to see what Olympic stuff we could see. The buildings way in the distance are those of the Olympic Village, and those nice security people wouldn't let us get any closer even when David pretended to be a Russian skier.
We then hopped on the free Olumpic Line to go to Granville Island to wander around.
The Swiss House was a happening place with live music and costumes and it was a beautiful evening.
