Alpspitz, Neuschwanstein, and Fussen

Monday morning, September 26th, we headed to the tops of the mountains.  Fun ride to the top.

Hiked down to to another gondola to get to the valley.

Drive through a part of Austria.

Neuschwanstein Castle 

The tour was wonderful!!  The rooms were beautiful...lots of dark carved woods.  We weren't allowed to take pictures inside though.

Dad did sneek a picture of the kitchen though.

Lisa, Dad and I then drove to Fussen, a small town nearby, just to check it out.   It was a delightful place.

You have to visit the cathedral.....and this was a surprising one.  It doesn't look like it would be this ornate inside  just looking at the outside.

It was another very full and fun day in southern Germany!!
