Boston- day1

We got into the port of Boston in the morning, got a taxi and headed to our hotel to drop off our luggage.  We stayed in the theatre district only blocks from Boston Commons and the Freedom Trail.

State House

So interesting to walk through the Granary Burial Grounds.

I am symbolically opposing the Democrats!
Old South Meeting House

All the walking got a bit too much for David's back so we opted for the hop on and off bus tour with a cruise around the harbour.  This is the boat we got on ...top deck front row seats.

Very beautiful city.

Paul Revere's home.

Old North Church

If it weren't for our children, we wouldn't have tried half the things we did...like cannoli's. It was quite the happening place...must be good!!

Then by Copp's Hill Burying Ground...to the museum.

Then on the Constitution

David was just "pretending" to ring the bell for the picture, but then did ring it lightly (but loudly) and the lady to the left was not happy with him!

We were getting hungry so headed to the Faneuil Hall Marketplace.  What a fun place!!  Great shopping and food court and great atmosphere with street performers.

Topped off the day with a sundae and then headed back to the hotel.

Just some fun lights to buy from a kiosk.

We finished the day trying to watch the BYU game.  It was fun day!!

So fun. Love that nightime city skyline shot. I need to go to Boston.
